Participation of Prof. Triantafyllidis (AUTH) in 10^th IUPAC International Conference on Green Chemistry

The previous week, Prof. Triantafyllidis (AUTH) participated in 10^th IUPAC International Conference on Green Chemistry which was held in Beijing, China on 18-22 October 2024. Prof. K. Triantafyllidis was among the keynote speakers and during the conference, with a presentation on the “Thermochemical/catalytic recycling and upcycling of thermoplastic and thermosetting polymers”. Within this talk, the main results of Plastic2fuels project (Plastic Waste Valorization Towards Marine Fuels) were presented, regarding the conversion of plastic wastes via pyrolysis and hydrogenolysis towards crude oils production.
